After 42 years of service, the 56th Fighter Wing conducted its final flight of the F-16, Block 42 “Viper,” at Luke Air Force Base on February 26, 2025. The pilot in command (PIC) of the historic flight was Lt. Col. Michael Ress of the 309th Fighter Squadron.
