When somebody thinks about New Zealand, the first things that come to mind are the good wine, the unique animals there, and the amazing natural landscapes that were used as a set for the movies inspired by Tolkien’s work. But a big turn-off for the average European, American and even Japanese tourist may be the distance: in fact, it takes more than 10 hours to reach this wonderful destination, from cities such as London, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Of course, this situation becomes a turn-on when the traveler is also an aviation enthusiast, but everyone will suffer from the long trip and jet lag afterward!
