In January 2025, there are seven aircraft types that flew between London Heathrow Airport and destinations in the United States. Six of these types were wide-bodied aircraft, and one was narrow-bodied. In all, according to data from Cirium, there were 82,734 flights between Heathrow and the United States, carrying a total of 22.14 million seats. Air traffic has recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic and is reaching new heights. In May 2024, Simple Flying reported that Heathrow was on course for its busiest year yet.
