William Henry Gates III is one of the wealthiest people in the entire world. Dropping out of Harvard, he elected to develop his skills in the world of software, and together with childhood friend, Paul Allen, founded Microsoft in 1975. Under the leadership of Gates and Allen, Microsoft went from an idea to one of the world’s biggest brands, and the two are considered pioneers of the personal computer revolution.
