Currently, four ( F-35, F/A-18, F-15, and F-16) United States frontline fighter jets are in production by two companies (Lockheed Martin and Boeing). Additionally, the new B-21 Raider strategic bomber is also in low-rate production by Northrop Grumman. Northrop (and other contractors like General Atomics) is also producing advanced combat UAVs, but these are outside the scope of this article.
